Start a project
Bring a question, a material or a process.
The centre works with companies, public research groups and early career researchers. A first conversation is usually about the problem, the result you need and the timescale.
Ways to work with us
- Research partnership. A joint project around a materials, gas or process question, often with a funded consortium.
- Laboratory access. Use of a specific facility or method for a defined programme of measurements.
- Proposal partnership. A named partner for a national or European proposal in CO2, hydrogen, materials or assessment.
- Student projects. Doctoral or master's work connected to one of the research lines.
A useful first message describes the problem in plain language, explains what a successful result would look like, and gives an indication of timing and any funding route you have in mind. You do not need to have a fully formed technical plan.
Tell us about the project
The form below prepares an email in your own mail application. Nothing is sent until you confirm it there.
Confidentiality
Please do not send confidential technical information in a first message. If a project moves forward, a confidentiality agreement can be discussed before detailed material is exchanged.
