By train
The Universitat Autònoma station is served by the FGC line S2 from Barcelona and Sabadell. Trains stop at Catalunya, Provença, Gràcia, Muntaner and Sarrià in Barcelona, and at Sant Cugat, Sant Quirze and Sabadell on the Vallès side. The journey from central Barcelona takes about 30 minutes.
The RENFE line R7 connects Barcelona with Cerdanyola Universitat. From the station, a campus bus service links the different building areas. Allow a little extra time to reach the centre on foot.
By car
From Barcelona, take the C58 towards Sabadell, Terrassa and Manresa and leave at the UAB exit. From the AP7 Mediterranean motorway, follow the B30 towards the Universitat Autònoma. From Girona and Tarragona, the same B30 approach serves the campus.
Parking on campus is limited during teaching hours. If you are visiting for a meeting, ask for advice on the closest parking area before you travel.
By bus and air
SARBUS operates services from Barcelona to the UAB, with departures from the Fabra i Puig and Sant Andreu Arenal areas. Several towns in the region also have direct bus services to the campus.
From Barcelona airport, take the train or bus into the city and continue by FGC or RENFE to the campus. A taxi from the airport is also possible, but the journey takes longer than the rail route in busy periods.
On arrival
Please arrange visits in advance. The centre's team can tell you which entrance and meeting room to use, and can help with access requirements. For a first visit, allow time to find the building on a large campus.
