Publications
Research made available to the field.
The centre's results have appeared in peer reviewed journals across chemistry, physics, engineering and environmental assessment. This page describes the main themes rather than reproducing a citation list.
Publication themes
Publication is how a research result becomes useful beyond the project that produced it. The centre's output reflects the range of its laboratories, with a recurring emphasis on the behaviour of gases and fluids at interfaces and under pressure.
| Theme | Typical questions | Where the work appears |
|---|---|---|
| CO2 capture and separation | How strongly do sorbents bind CO2, and how easily can they be regenerated? | Greenhouse gas control, separation and materials journals |
| Ionic liquids and phase behaviour | How do complex fluids behave under pressure, and how can models predict it? | Physical chemistry, fluid phase and supercritical fluid journals |
| Supercritical fluids | How can dense CO2 be used to extract, impregnate or synthesize materials? | Supercritical fluid, materials and chemical engineering journals |
| Materials and thin films | How do structure and interfaces control energy and transport behaviour? | Materials, nanoscience and applied physics journals |
| Food packaging and preservation | Which gas mixtures extend shelf life without compromising quality? | Food science, meat science and stored product journals |
| Water and gas treatment | Which process conditions remove contaminants reliably and efficiently? | Water, environmental and chemical technology journals |
How the record is used
Project reports and publications are used by partners, funders and other researchers. Where a paper is available through an open repository, the centre encourages access through the institutional repositories of its founding partners.
We do not reproduce full citation lists on this site. For a specific publication, a project report or a request to collaborate on a paper, please contact the centre with the subject and the year.
