Laboratory
Nanotechnology
Imaging, spectroscopy, thermal analysis and mechanical testing at the nanoscale.
What this laboratory does
The Nanotechnology laboratory is equipped for the characterisation and manipulation of materials at the nanoscale. It combines scanning probe microscopy, particle size measurement, micro Raman scattering, nanocalorimetry and nanoindentation. Together these methods allow a material's size, mechanical, thermal, optical, structural and electrical properties to be studied in one place.
