Materials and gases, studied together. An independent centre for CO2, energy and clean processes.

Congress

Fourth International Congress of Green Process Engineering

The fourth international congress on green process engineering took place in Sevilla, with a programme on cleaner chemical and industrial processes.

Green process engineering looks at how chemical and industrial processes can use less energy, produce less waste and use safer materials. It is a design discipline as much as a set of technologies.

The congress brought together researchers and engineers working on process intensification, alternative solvents, catalysis and environmental assessment. Those themes overlap with the centre's work on supercritical fluids, CO2 utilisation and life cycle assessment.

The event is recorded here for context. The centre's own process work is described in the laboratory and research line pages.
