Leaching metallic silver with aqueous ozone
The behaviour of metallic silver in an ozone based leaching system, examined for recovery and process design.
Silver recovery faces a similar set of questions to other metals: how to dissolve the metal selectively, how to avoid unwanted side reactions and how to keep the process manageable at scale.
This study examines metallic silver in an aqueous ozone system. It contributes to the broader picture of ozone as a reagent for metal recovery and to the design of leaching processes with a lower chemical load.
